TurntablePSU.comReviews and Technical Analysis

About This Site

The purpose of this site is to act as a data aggregator for all the various turntable power supplies available on the market, past and present. We are starting a database of products to review and showcase as well as a brief overview of the different motor technologies and control schemes.

We always thought there were a number of things missing from most reviews done by the audio press: Number 1 is measurements; frequency stability, accuracy, distortion and output power are easily measured and compared to published specifications to facilitate comparisons between products. Number 2 is technical analysis of the design; different approaches have different pros and cons. We try to include owners manuals and repair diagrams whenever possible.

All of the information on this site has been gleened from public domain sources mostly through the internet. By consilidating the information into one easy to navigate site, we hope to reduce the amount of time and effort needed to locate the data most people are looking for. We strive to update our records as more information becomes available; if you have access to information you would like to see posted on this site, please inform us via the contact page.
